my car does 33 miles per gallon for 1330 cc engine. Is it ok and economical or it is using lot. At exhaust I see lot of white smoke is it normal? Can valves not properly closing cause vacuum loss and high idle?

Valves not closing properly will cause rough running ot high idle. A vaccum leak will cause high idle tho.

White smoke could be mositure in the fuel or coolant entering engine.

33mpg is pretty good dependable on your driving habbits
