1991 Toyota Corolla fuel injectors

Hi there you guys do a good job my car when I ride it rides fine but when I keep the acelarator in to a cretain degree then the car does not go faster almost like its not geting enuf fuel what I want to know if my injectors a dirty and should they be cleaned and is this expensive, and another thing is that I drive my car alot on reserve. Pls reply this is urgent

Hi there,

Change the fuel filter first, and have the fuel rail pressure checked, this will give a good indication as to the condition of the injectors, if you have never had the injectors serviced, I would recommend having this done, there are a few ways of doing this, on & off car, I feel you should have the off care service done, as at the Mls done you may well been new pintals fitted.
