My wife lost her fan belt the other night so I replaced it with a new one but now it's like i've got little to No compresion. It'd blowing smoke out of the tail pipe and it wont run on an idol. I couldnt even drive it home. Any clue what happened? Could it be a timing issue now? Im at a loss on not how to fix this. Any help would be Much Appreciated. Thanks

Did the car overheat when she was driving it and then stall out or keep running?

If it was ran overheated then chances are the heads or the block is warped or cracked and you are loosing compression.

A compression test will reveal what is wrong with it.
