1987 Toyota Corolla 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual

i got a 1987 toyota corrolla it has a carborated motor what do I need to to do I wanna boost should I get a fuel injected motor for it the go from there cuz I knw that 83 through 87 is the like the ideal drift car I think I just have never really messed with a toyota before so I just what some kind of direction on what to do thanks


i wanna be able to get good times at the drag strip and turn it into a beastly 4 banger would the 4age motor with a turbo be my best bet

If you go FI, use the 4AGE from a 1990-1992 Corolla, thay have 130hp.

You would have to change fuel pumps, and complete wiring harness.

Otherwise use nitrous oxide, but be warned, it can ONLY be activated at WOT (wide open throttle).
