1983 Toyota Corolla oil light

When the engine is hot, the oil light comes on when the car slows down and comes to a stop and the engine revs decrease, this does not happen in the mornings when the engine is cold also the battery seems to be short of charge in the afternoons and does not start as easly as it does in the mornings, I don't know if the two problems are related

Have oil pressure measured with mechanical gauge, you may have an oil pump issue, or a bad sender, low idle.

Have the charging system tested at most autoparts stores for free.
