1993 Toyota Celica Ideling problem

2.2 liter engine. The car starts right up. When I stop at a red light it misses, when I go to pull out of my drive way its starts missing then. It doesnt do it when its going up a hill or accellerating down the road. At idle the RPM gauge goes up and down. It will stall occasionally at idle.

Do you have a check engine light and when was the last tune-up?

You can start by cleaning out the idle air control valve/throttle position sensor/airflow meter-also check the PCV and EGR valves.
