Interior problem 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 80,000 miles

There are 3 dials on the dash that work the fan, the ac/heat selection and the direction of the air(feet, head defrost etc.). The light behind two of the dials is out, the fan and the ac/heat selection. Is this a blown fuse? My thought, but when I tried to get the fuse out I had no luck. If it is something this simple how do I change the fuse and if not what else could it be?

Hi, I have the same problem with my 2004 Camry. After taking apart the front section where the knobs are, I was able to locate the problem of 2 small bulbs. One of them is bad ( one bulb lights 2 knobs) The problem is that the bulbs can only be replaced from behind. At this point I am not sure how to remove this section to replace the bulb. Did you have any luck with a solution?
