2002 Toyota Camry check engine light

My check engine light is on and was told it is my catalitic converter problem.
also was told that this is a toyota problem and has a butlitin on this, then was told by a dealer in PA that there is too much milage to be under toyota repair discount is this true and if so, how much does it coct to repair this problem

The light gets triggered by numerous things ranging from spark plug misfire, wire failure, O2 censor failure, or EGR valve. Take it to AutoZone or AAMCO and they will run a FREE diagnostis test and tell you which one is wrong
