Hey all,

Hi rodchar,

Depends on where the squeak is coming from.

If it is the door hinges or door restrictor, WD40 would dry up and won't last long.

Hinges would prefer some engine oil

Door restrictor you need grease.

If it is the door glasses, WD40 would damage the runchannels. Silicon or wax spray is recommended.

Hi rodchar,

That is the piece of rod situated between door hinges. It prevents the door from opening too fast and over limit.
