Drive Train Axles Bearings problem
1998 Toyota Camry 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 80.000 miles

Question: 1998 Toyota Camry. How to replace the CV shaft on the passenger side that has bracket that holds the bearing. I cannot get the old shaft completely out of the transmission. I cannot get the old bearing out of the bracket. How do I get it out of the bracket?

Hi there,

The easiest way is to unbolt the bracket as there is a very heavy cir-clip that need to be removed and you can do your self some personal damage trying to remove this in place.
