1992 Toyota Camry Exhaust

I just bought a 92 Camry CE on Friday and it has two issues. I think it needs a new exhaust system. It putters loudly when excelerating and I can smell fumes in the car. What would a new system cost from the exhaust manifold back? Also the wipers do not work. I can hear the motor but they don't move. What do you think that would cost to fix? Thanks

Most Toyota exhaust systems are bolted on a opposed to welded, so they are pretty straight foward.

Parts would be around $500. If you intend to replace convertor add $200 for direct fit unit.

If wiper motor is working, then the wiper transmission may be bad, or connection from motor to trans. Has worked loose.
