Intermittently, dash lights -- brake, oil, check engine, lights, battery, oil -- will come on, go off, flicker, when hit a bump in the road they will be effected. Won't pass inspection with check engine light on. But it seems to be electrical, not emissions.

Hi RichardMelody,

Thank you for the donation.

There could be 2 issues here.

1. CEL showing because there is a fault in the engine management system. Get a scan done and let me know the exact trouble code. You can get it scanned at Autozone, they provide the services free.

2. Dash lights flickering could be due to a loose wire connection somewhere and most probably it is at the meter cluster connectors.

You would need to remove the meter cluster to check.
