1997 Toyota 4Runner not sure.I need help

My 97 toyota 4 runner when I acelerate hesitates but yesterday I was just driving and it turned off at I light no jerk or warning I am a single mom with one job and need to find out the problem I have taken it in in the past but they just said there is nothing wrong and took my money I cant keep nickle and diming it please I think it might be the fuel presure regulator but my frind thinks its something with the air

Inspect and test all the following listed below

Oxygen sensor.
Catalytic converter.
Fuel injectors dirty/sticking.
Mass airflow sensor/Airflow meter.
Throttle position sensor.
Manifold absolute pressure sensor.
EGR Valve
Fuel pressure regulator leaking or defective fuel pump.
False air leakage.
Fuel contamination.
Foul/defective spark plugs.
Open spark plug wires.
Ignition coil/Coil packs defective.
Incorrect ignition timing.
Cap and rotor.

Note:If it doesn't apply disregard.
