1992 Toyota 4Runner cylinder heads.

1992 Toyota 4Runner 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic

Replacing head gaskets and noticed both heads are the exact same, just turned around on SUV. Lay them out you cant tell no dif. Had head gaskets done while back, ran like crap, couldnt fix no matter what. So going to have heads rechecked and noticed this. Are they suppose to be the same? You can put either one on either side. THANKS

No it shouldn't be the same, it has a different OEM part no.

Dont know how this happened, but I will find out since Toyota did the head gaskets, might explain why it ran the way it did. Thanks
