TIPM replacement, now no start?

2006 CHRYSLER PT CRUISER
230,000 MILES • 2.4L • 2WD • AUTOMATIC

I had to replace the TIPM in my vehicle listed above Touring Sedan. Now it will not start, when trying to start it, it cranks once, the little security light comes on solid when trying to start it. Tried putting the old one in, same no start issue.

Is the security light flashing when cranking? If so, the security system is enabled, also I would have the battery load tested. You might want to try a hard system reboot which can help reset the system to relearn, this guide can help:
