My vehicle listed above was sluggish, had trouble changing gears, and a rough idle. Basically, no power. Higher mileage engines have a notorious timing chain guide problem, but mine is well below the range for that. I changed the VVT solenoid first. The old solenoid were clean and showed no evidence of metal from the chain in the mesh. I drove it a short way after the change but still have the issue. Is there a reset of sensors or anything to do after changing the solenoids?

You may have a bad MAF or a clogged catalytic converter. The engine has 50k on it correct? Please go over this guide and get back to us.
