The timing belt broke. I replaced the timing belt and put it in time (so I thought). The car will turn over but not fire up.

Good afternoon,

The first thing I would do is check the compression to be sure there is no valve damage from the belt failure.

We redid everything and checked it twice and it is in time now and everything works and the car is turning over but won’t fire up and crank. It sounds like it wants to but can’t.

Got it.

Check the compression. That is the next step. You can rent a tester at a parts store.
