I just replaced the timing belt and I have a rough start when cold but after I get it started it runs pretty good. I even turn it off and restart it several times and it starts no problem but once I let it sit for a while same problem persist. Can you help me?

Hello,

Have you had a chance to check the timing? Just in case that is off a little it can impact the drivability.

Did you have this issue before the timing belt replacement?

When the timing is slightly off, you are going to have an issue starting when cold so this seems to fit.

After replacing the timing belt, it can effect the overall timing if the old belt was slightly loose. So now it is a good idea to check the timing and make sure it is correct.

I have attached the timing test procedure below.

Please let me know of any questions.
Thank you.
