Okay, I need to know which wires go to where on the throttle body sensor. It's a 6-pin harness plug with a yellow, a red, 2 blue with one with a black stripe and the other white. Also, a white wire and black. But there's these non-colored wires coming out next to the shielded blue wires with the strip being white and the other blue wire with a stripe and there's a shielded yellow wire with a non-colored next to it in the same shielded wire conduit.

Hi,

You are referring to the electronic throttle actuator. To provide the locations for all the wires you mentioned, I had to copy the entire powertrain management system.

Here is what I did: First, the circuit is 4 pages long. To make it readable for you, I had to cut each page in half. Therefore, every two pics below are one page. I did overlap them so you can follow from one to the next. Additionally, I highlighted all the wires related to your request so you can follow them.

Here is a link you may find helpful:

I hope this helps. Let me know if you need anything.

Take care,

Joe

See pics below. Note: Pic 4 below is where the wiring originates.

Okay, that is some very helpful information. But where do the braided non colored wires go that are in the red and white conduit all three together in the same conduit? Is that a ground wire the braided in it?

If it is braided, it sounds like part of the can-bus. Can stands for controller area network. Basically, a few wires connect all the computers/modules together via a few wires. As a result, the modules can communicate back and forth.

See attached pics.

If you feel this is incorrect, could you take a picture of what you are seeing and upload it for me to see? I'm not sure what you mean by non-colored wires.

Let me know.

Hi,

I believe those are ground wires. Do me a favor. Check for a ground location on the right front of the engine. I suspect they are all ground wires. Since they won't be connected to ground, we can't check for continuity to ground. You could check to see if they are connected by checking resistance between the wires. If I'm reading the schematic correctly, they are all tied together.

Let me know. Also, let me know if they have any insulation on them. If possible, cut the wire loom back and see if there is a color on the wire.
