My vehicle starts at times very rough and I had it in shop last week, it was hooked to a computer because check engine light was on and it says throttle body needs to be relearned. It has been relearned 3 times over this past week and as soon as I drive it it loses relearn. If I drive it very far and turn it off it starts very very rough and I have to let it sit sometimes an hour and it will start fine until the next time. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thank you

Couple things. First, what was the code that you are getting when you find it needs to be relearned? Then after you relearn it how long before it needs to be relearned again? Is it instant?

I suspect we have a greater issue with the throttle body or position sensor that causes the throttle to require it to be relearned.

Let's start with the code and we can go from there. Thanks

I will get that code. It loses relearn as soon as I drive it after being relearned.

Got it. That will tell us what the issue is. Clearly it is seeing it immediately so it sounds like a throttle sensor. Let me know and we can figure this out. Thanks
