Hi,

I need to better understand. The temperature gauge on the instrument cluster shows a high temperature when the blower motor for the heater or A/C is on?

If that is the case, does the radiator cooling fan turn on when it shows high? If it doesn't, then I suspect is it a short to power under the dash or in the integrated power module under the hood.

Let's try something simple to start. Locate the front blower motor relay in the under hood power distribution box. Switch it with a different relay having the same part number to see if that changes anything. When you have it out, make sure the connections in the box are in good condition and not pushed in or damaged.

I attached a pic of the relay's location. Let me know what happens. If that doesn't change anything, with the relay out, turn the blower motor on in the vehicle (the fan won't run) but I want to see if that causes the gauge to go up as well. That will help me eliminate certain areas of concern.

Take care,
Joe
