Can we start with two things? First, what engine did you install in the vehicle? Was it another 1.7L? Next what are the actual codes that you are getting and we can start working through what the issues could be. Thanks

I have an 2001 and an 2002 same motor and transmission. Transmission went out in the 2002 so instead of swapping transmission only I swapped both to the 2002. Turned keep to pressure up fuel system and let PCM read. Started right up smooth idle to bring to operating temperature to top off fluids. Oil, transmission fluid and antifreeze. After 20 minutes it went to limp mode. Temperature was good oil pressure good. Run scan and the code cam up. I changed the TDC sensor with the one from the other motor. Cleared the code and after 15 minutes it did it again. Smooth start smooth I’d
E than limp mode almost dying. Same code. Motor has about 12,000 miles on it transmission has about 30,000 on a shop rebuild.

Since you have tried two different sensors, I suspect you have a connection issue. However, here is the testing that we need to do in order to find the issue.
