Tachometer and overdrive lights are blinking

Car has low torque when I first press the accelerator wont even pass a speed bump without a little head start and the tachometer is also not working. I did notice the other day that the overdrive light went off and the tachometer started working again and the torque came back. This went on for a few minutes soon after the overdrive light started flashing again and lost torque again.

This sounds like a possible speed sensor issue or even a throttle position sensor but we need to start with codes because there are a lot of possible causes and we don't have enough to go on yet.

Here is a guide on how to check for codes or you can stop by a parts store that does this and they will get the codes free of charge:

So I have checked the codes on the vehicle and they are as follows:

P0708
P1131
P0117
P0755
P1445

Also I have noticed the negative battery cable gets really hot in sure there is a ground issues also can that cause some of these codes?

P0708 - Transmission Range sensor is open
P0755 - Shift Solenoid Electrical malfunction
P0117 - Sensor signal voltage is low
P1445 - Purge Flow sensor circuit issue

Based on these codes it appears you have a wiring issue with the transmission. I would start with running through these DTCs diag steps and see where it leads you then update me on what you find and we can go from there. Thanks
