Air Conditioner

I have a suzuki XL7 and when I drive it and turn on the air conditioner I hear a loud squeaking sound, and then when I accelerate I hear a rattling sound? My husband called and said that the ac is only blowing hot air now. What do I need to do? How much will this cost? Thank you so much

First off, stop trying to use the a/c until it is fixed. The squealing you hear is the belt slipping. It will eventually break and leave you stranded. As long as you dont attempt to run the A/C the belt will be fine.
As for the problem, it sounds like your compressor has seized up.
