Was the battery disconnected?
If so, try this Initialization procedure:
To re-initialize the sun roof, depress sunroof switch and operate sunroof to the maximum tilt position. Release sunroof switch. Depress and hold sunroof switch again. After ten seconds, the sunroof will start automatic operation and complete one cycle (tilt downward, slide open, slide close and tilt upward) while sunroof switch is depressed. Do not release sunroof switch until sunroof stops. Check that sunroof stops in correct position.
If the battery was not disconnected or that procedure did not work, follow this test.
Disconnect control relay connector.
Check for continuity or voltage as indicated at control relay wiring harness connector terminals with sunroof switch or limit switch in specified positions. See appropriate Control relay test table. If test results are as specified, control relay circuits are okay. Replace control relay. If test results are not as specified, repair or replace appropriate switch or wire. See Fig 1 or Fig 2.

Control relay location, to left of motor.
