Started smelling oil when my defrosters were on?

I have the vehicle listed above turbo. I started smelling oil when my defrosters were on. Took it to dealership for diagnostic said it needed a gasket cap and oil feed tube. So, the dealership did the gasket cap and a friend replaced the oil feed tube and also the cylinder 2 spark plug because after having the gasket cap replaced it started to misfire and that spark plug was cracked started driving home the engine light came back on and at about 40 miles per hour it starts to sputter, and the burning oil smell when the defrosters are on is still there just not as bad. Any advice on what the issue is?

Yep, this will happen when the valve cover gasket starts to leak because oil will drip onto the exhaust manifold which is what you are smelling, or the oil leak is down low like an oil pressure sensor and getting onto the exhaust system that way. Here is how to change the valve cover gasket out which is probably the problem. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.
