Hi,

Since this seems to be an electrical issue, I was always taught to start at the source. First, are the battery terminals clean and tight?

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/everything-goes-dead-when-engine-is-cranked

Next, I need you to check pin 16 in the data link connector (scanner connector) for 12v power. It should have power at all times. See picture 1.

Now, I would like to go through schematics related to starting, but I need to know if you have a push button (smart key) or not.

Let me know.

Joe

Hi,

It's possible, but unlikely that both have failed at the same time. Have you confirmed both a chassis ground on pic 4 and a signal ground on pin 5? Have you checked fuses?

Let me know.
