1996 Subaru Legacy Radiator? Valve?

My water temp on dash is above red level and when I stopped I saw smoke from hood. It came from the left side and when I opened the hood, everything was wet on the left side, no sweet smell.

If smoke was white than it was definitely coolant, you will have to find the source of the leak. Could be water pump failure, hose failure etc.

Thanks, found a crack in the radiator. Was fixed from previous owner and broke again, just going to replace it.
