Low mileage vehicle will turn over but not start first few key turns. Then, it sounds like it catches, but no start for next few key turns. Then it starts. And runs fine. Turn off, and it'll start right away. Wait 1/2 hour, problem repeats itself. This morning it did NOT exhibit problem. But an hour later, it did. Any ideas?

Sounds like a fuel pressure problem. Install a manual gauge and see what the bleed down rate is when key is turned off. Also want to see what the pressure is when it wont start

You were right on the money. The fuel pressure regulator was bad. Took the dealer 3 tries. You diagnosed it first time.
