Stopped running while driving

The VSC light, check engine light and oil light came on at the same time while driving on the interstate. About five minutes later my car just stopped running and left me stranded on the interstate. I have not had any warning lights on before this. Car still has power, windows work, radio etc, but it will not start.

This could be a pretty serious issue so we need to start with the basics. First let's check for codes and see what is there. Here is a guide that will help with that:

Then we need to spin the engine over by hand with a wrench on the crank pulley because I suspect the engine locked up.

If this is the case, we need to do an oil change and then pour the old oil through a coffee filter.

This will capture all the metal so we can see if this is correct.
