Steering problem?

I had new drop links and rod ends installed and tracking done. The day after, there were tapping noises and now the steering is gone heavy and making weird noise when turning the wheel. Could there be a link between the work done and the now new steering problem?

Please understand this vehicle isn't offered in the US, so I have no specifics. However, I will try my best to help.

If the steering has become difficult to turn and you are hearing a noise, have you checked to make sure the power steering fluid is full?

If the fluid is full and the belt is tight, how would you best describe the noise? Is it loud enough for you to record and upload for me to hear?
