My car starts and runs fine for about half an hour to two hours, but then it suddenly stalls out. I have recently changed fuel filter and air filter in engine bay, it was my first time doing so, so iam not 100% sure I put everything back the way it was, near the air intake system and engine block.

Hi,

Does the vehicle start right back up or do you need to wait awhile? I'm asking because it isn't odd for a failing crankshaft position sensor to act this way. When they start going bad, heat affects them and when the cool, they can start working again.

Take a look through this link and let me know if what you experience mirrors what is described.

If restarting it is delayed, check to see if there is spark to the plugs. If there isn't, the crank sensor is my first suspect.

IF you find it is bad, here are the directions for replacement. Pic 1 shows location.
