Replace the battery. Just did the spark plugs reset the gap on them to.044 it cranks over, but just will not start until I start playing with the throttle pedal. It takes several times of doing so to make it start. And then it will start to turn over and then immediately die. Eventually, I can get her to start.

Okay, it sounds like i could be an accelerator pedal sensor or HPFP failure but we should run the codes to help guide us to the problem so we can fix it. This guide can help

There are no codes popping with the check engine light. Both thermostats have been removed from the car because it used to overheat. And I'm getting a weird symbol on the - That looks like 2 parentheses with a lightning bolt in the middle. And the throttle pedal has a sensor in it.

Yep, that warning light is for the throttle system IE the throttle bore or the accelerator pedal sensor, but they should have a code for it, even though the check engine light is not on it can still have codes so I would scan it for sure before we continue.
