I am wondering if somebody can give me some help and orientation about the situation I am having a long time ago with my car it has the 1.8 soch engine. The problem is week by week this symptom is increasing when I try to starting the engine make a weird sound like some electrical problem every time I try to starting. That makes a sound like a spark and like a buzz and I try and try and after various intend. The starter motor sounds normal and the engine starts. In the beginning only make that one time or two every two weeks but right now that condition increase by every time I try to start the engine make the same thing and I must try various times to start the engine. If somebody can give me help with this if it the starting relay fuse or the starting motor needs to be replaced or the Intermotor Clutch Starter Safety Switch or the Intermotor Ignition Starter Switch
Important my car is manual transmission and I will check the wires but I am sure the wires are not broken, but I will check anyway to discarding any possible problem with wires or plugs but I am sure a lot of people maybe have my experience with those symptoms. If is any of those parts I mention please let me know when the person in charge has spare time. I will be grateful for any help and solution to resolve the problem with the car. Thanks for the attention. I appreciate it.

Check battery for condition including load test. Most places do for free. Make sure battery terminal ends are clean as well.

Thanks very much for the answer but that car also have in the clutch pedal a switch to starting the engine. I want to know which is the symptoms when that switch begins to give problems. I am just asking because. Sometimes the car starting again like normal and then something wrong happen that Mal function comes again and takes time to again try to start the engine. The sounds like a spark outside and in the inside in the car makes a sounds like a electric buzz.? Is the starter motor or maybe the clutch switch. ? Why I ask twice because when the problem leaves sometimes I feel the starter motor sounds like strong starting?

Kind of doubt it's the clutch switch it either works or doesn't unless you don't push the clutch in all the way if it's a buzz it may be the solenoid is not transferring power all the way and starter is on it's way out. Auto parts check them although it is not much of a test as they draw more amps starting a car than spinning like at auto parts.

Yep thanks very much. I decided to take out the starter motor. And buy a new one and after that I go to advance auto parts for the test and the results was no function anymore. So I bought I a new one in autozone because of few bucks less. But not too much cheap the taxes here are very high.. Ok that was a genuine Mitsubishi OEM starting motor ok the first time I replaced it since 2001. Near to 17 years of service I think it was good enough. Many years of service. Thanks you guys. For the recommendations.. I thought it was the clutch switch the one located in the clutch back of the clutch pedal but is not. But now I know is the part when to car have make those rare noises when I try to start the engine. Starter motor not working. That's all.. And I also hope if anybody else have this kind of issues begin first with checking the battery charge and next step take out the starter motor to check it in auto part machine for check that part. Thanks once again.
