Starting my car

Hi, 1 year ago I bought a Mazda RX8 2005 2.6lt (75,000mi) from auction. I serviced the mazda at a mazda dealership shortly after and the catalytic converter was changed along with 2 coils. I drove the mazda on a 1600mh road trip to Albania in which the car ran really smoothly and I used the car pretty much solidly for 4 weeks with no problems. I left the car in Albania to use whilst visiting family and friends etc. When I returned a couple of months later, I used the mazda for about a week with no problems but then I started to notice that the fuel consumption had increased dramatically and the car was persistently losing power. It was also very difficult to start the ignition when the engine was hot. So, I checked the coils and they were fine but changed 4 of the spark plugs just to be on the safe side. Even connecting the car to a mazda diagnostic program showed no problems. The car still displayed the same problems and the only way to start the car if the engine was warm was to push start it, which seemed to work instantaneously. The problem I have is that the garages in Albania are somewhat limited and I can't bring the mazda back over here. I was wondering if you had come across any similar problems with the rx8 and if you knew what the likely cause could be and if it would be possible to remedy
. Any advice would be very much appreciated.
Cheers!
Armand

Have the fuel pressure checked. It may be low shold be 54.5-65.2 psi or 375-450 kpa at fuel rail

Thanks, i'll check the pressure and keep you posted. I have a feeling it might be the starter motor as it's not the original one but as well something someone else has said is the engine compression. Thanks again
