Sometimes, not all, my vehicle will shut off immediately after starting. This also happens with auto-stop and has caused me to have to shift back to park at a stop light, to restart. Tried higher octane fuel, with no changes.

Hello, when you say AutoStop, are you referring to the Stop Start system? Where will the engine shut off at stops and restart when you go to take off? We are limited on information due to how new this vehicle is. There aren't even wiring diagrams available yet. There is a tag on the inside of the driver's door, or it might be under the hood but see if you can find a build date for your vehicle. It will list the month and year, such as 04/2021 for example. Your vehicle is a 2022 model but most likely built sometime during 2021. I only ask because there is a recall for vehicles built during a certain time during 2021 where there is an internal fuel leak from the Fuel Pump assembly back into the fuel tank due to the tube being too thin. This leak will cause stalling just like what you are describing. Although it is a Safety Recall listed under the 2021 model, it still may affect your vehicle depending on the build date. So, if you can find that tag, it will definitely be in the door frame or on the tag on the underside of the hood. You may be losing fuel pressure at specific times, there doesn't look like there are any other Technical Bulletins or Recalls about the issue you are describing. And because this is a GDI system, the fuel pressure is at extremely high pressures (up to 2175 psi), but the High-pressure Fuel Pump is fed by a low-pressure Fuel Pump in the fuel tank. So, if the low-pressure pump loses pressure, the High-pressure pump will be affected immediately. This High side fuel pressure can only be monitored with a scan tool due to how high it gets. If the pressure is dropping off, it will be seen in the live data on a scan tool and should be able to be found pretty fast.
Have you received this Safety Recall from the dealership?
