SRS airbag controller

The exist SRS controller has intermittent fault the mechanics said it has to be replaced.
I would like to ask that If I replace with a good one, do I have to use scanner such as Tech II to remove the fault code from the old bad set or no need to do that?

You can't just slap a used module in there. They are programmed to the vehicle.

The other words is the new one has to adjusted/provided for the car by tool like Tech II, right?

I don't believe the Tech 2 is capable of doing that.

You purchase a brand new module. New ones sometimes don't require programming. You need to ask your dealer.
