Check engine light comes on

Gives codes 6100. It might drive good one time next time it will not pick speed or going okay. Suddenly the check engine light comes on, car speed starts dropping like it is not getting gas. I have replaced fuel pump and filter.

Can you double check the engine codes becasue that number is not showing up.

Cannot find anything relating to a code 6100. From the description I would start with a scan with a dealer level tool to determine if this is engine or transmission related. It sounds like the transmission is going into limp mode but only testing it can confirm that.
