So my fiance changed our spark plugs. He took them all out in a circle then put the new ones in the same way (in wrong firing order). Now the car starts for three seconds then shuts off. I have tried to redo it in the right firing order but it still does the same thing. I am not sure what to do next. We do not have any mechanics here that know what there doing that is why we tried doing it.

Hello,

Something must be disconnected or is broken such as the air intake boot. Here is a guide that will help you.

Also did you install new spark plugs that are right for that engine becasue the wrong plugs with cause the problem as well.

Please let us know what you find.

Cheers, Ken
