Not shifting properly when accelerating fast from a stop?

If I hit the gas too hard from a complete stop the RPMs will go up to almost 5 and won't shift unless I let off gas. The same thing will happen in other gears if I try to hit it too hard.

This sounds like the turbine shaft sensor is going out, but we should scan for codes.
Here is the turbine shaft speed sensor location so you can change it out in case you need it. Check out the images (below). Let us know what happens and please upload pictures or videos of the problem so we can see what's going on.

So, no check engine light, but I checked for codes anyways, but no codes and the pics aren't very detailed looks like that sensor is on top on the engine.

I had a thought it could be a partially clogged catalytic converter. This will cause low vacuum and cause the transmission to shift late and hard. Please go over this guide to help confirm the issue.
