We put a new transmission in we put in what came out of it and L4 30 E which that is really I do not think the transmission that is that goes for that year 1991 those start with the 1992's I believe. It idles real high when you first start it and then it will kick down if you wait a little bit if you just hurry and take off and you could not drive it did not want to shift right whatever you just put it back and park take your time and it will drive just fine, for a while the transmission light was coming on because it was in the memory. I did this test someone told me to do, it fixed that it cleared the computer out. My problem is it shakes, like shivers pretty bad. The whole engine, stuff inside the vehicle just shakes (shivers). A few people have told me it could be a vacuum line spark plug something I do not know. I do not see how that could be but you never know so if you guys got any suggestions that would be wonderful. Thanks, Tammy

We need to start by finding out if this is a vacuum leak by running through this guide:

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-use-an-engine-vacuum-gauge

If you have a leak, clearly this will help identify where it is, but I also attached a diagram that lays out the vacuum and emissions system.

We also need to check and see if this is a misfire. Just remove each spark plug wire one at a time and make sure the engine runs rougher than it is and that will show that this cylinder is starting to misfire.

If you remove a wire and it makes no difference, then this cylinder is misfiring, and it needs to be inspected further.

Please see below for more info on this and let us know what you find with this.

Thanks
