I've a got the vehicle listed above Latitude. When I get running to shift between second and third gear (6 speed) car starts jerking a little and flashing ESC warning. It smooths out in third gear and is fine when I stop, but then process repeats. The third time it happens the dashboard goes crazy and lights warnings for ABS, ESC, hill assist, parking brake, and 4WD. After that, the driving is fine. When I turn the car off and and on again, it goes through the whole thing again. I figure the dealership just needs to update its software, but do you guys have any thoughts? Any advice would be appreciated.

Probably the first thing I would do is run a scan on it to see what codes are or have been setting. Then from your description I would probably check the wiring harness around the transmission and shifter to see if one of the wires is being hit or damaged by the shift linkage while it is being shifted into those gears. I don't think it is software related as the description sounds more like a physical problem not electronic controls.
