Serpentine belt tensioner pivot Bolt

The serpentine belt automatic tensioner pivot bolt has broken off about 3 times this month, I had the tensioner replaced with one from a junkyard, it still broke off. All pulleys have been checked okay.

There is a TSB out for this problem and it involves routing the new belt differently than stock and using a different belt if you have AC. Try it and see if the tensioner stays together.

Then there is another issue causing increased tension on the belt. Do you notice any common things about it breaking? Like you are driving at high speed and suddenly slow down, or that it breaks while you are driving at constant speed and the A/C turns on or anything like that? Where have you been buying the bolts and parts?
