My van goes to the dump if I can't do this, but my mechanic says it can be done and should work. I need to know what size or length of serpentine belt I would need if I was to bypass the power steering pump on my van listed above with A/C?

Hello,

To find out the size of the belt you will actually have to manually measure it. The catalog does not list the size needed when by-passing the power steering pump.
One of the best ways to measure it is to use a string and route the way the belt should go around the pulleys and simply measure it. Whatever length you measure, the belt needs to be just a little shorter to account for the tensioner being in the fully released position.

Let me know if you have any questions.
Thank you.
