When I push the throttle down the engine seems to have a delay and seems to under rev and revs up really slow almost like a limiter is in place. Some internal backfire. Very small, idle changes.

Good morning,

Several possibilities.

1. Low fuel pressure.

2. Clogged cat converter.

3. Timing.

Any recent work? 160,000, did you have the timing belt changed?

Do you have any codes stored? If so, can you post them?
