Okay, so went to get coffee and while waiting in drive through I turned off engine, removed keys to unlock glove box. I reinserted key and it would not turn to on position and my steering wheel locked, trying several times turning wheel side to side in attempt to unlock wheel and turn ignition on, my attempts failed. Drive through personal yelling at me the man behind me who hardly speaks English attempt to help as i'm calling for tow. Next thing I know he has torn ring off ignition guessing in attempt to unlock it. I remove him and see he ever so quickly also removed cover around my ignition not sure how but attempting to put cover to side so no wires get broken and still trying to turn key. Suddenly it unlocked, but now security system light stays red when cranking and wont start! So towed home, but still no start. Thought immobilize got broke but read in forums if it was and didn't see key it would not turn red. So tried reset still cranking no start. Help i'm pretty much broke. Do I need to have dealer reprogram or is it possible to DIY? Or possible broke immobilizer or something else?

Hello, I'm Danny.

Here is something to try first. Here is a tutorial showing how to reset the anti-theft/security system:

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-reset-a-security-system

After viewing scroll the page to find Nissan. Let me know if this doesn't work and we'll go from there.Hope this helps and thanks for using 2CarPros.
