Seat belt replacement sensor

When I change the driver side seat buckle do I have to plug in the sensor?

Yes. Otherwise the seat belt light will remain on. If this doesn't bother you then you can leave it off but this is not advised.

Do I need to connect the seatbelt sensor when I change out the driver side buckle?

Good evening,

Is it currently disconnected? Is the light on for the airbag system? The simple answer is yes, it needs to be connected. Check out the diagrams (Below). Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.
