Screeching noise after being very low on oil

No oil on dip stick, put in four plus quarts, engine turns over fine.
Loud screeching noise (front of engine ) and will not start.

Unfortunately this is a sign of bearing failure. Having been run that low on oil it's most likely ruined the crank and rod bearings. My suggestion would be a rebuild or replacement engine from a low mileage salvage vehicle.
