My ABS warning turned on, on the dashboard after I had a driver's side suspension strut bearing replacement done. The mechanic told me the ABS sensor came away from the seating due to erosion of the metal around the seating and he replaced it the best he could.
What parts will I need to buy to make good the sensor?
Many thanks for your help, Dave

Hi,

This vehicle isn't offered in the US, so I have very little info specific to it. However, I will try my best to help.

If you had the strut bearing plates replaced, the strut was removed. When this is done, I have a feeling the ABS sensor was either damaged or left disconnected.

If you check behind the wheels, you should find a wire going to the hub bearing (wheel bearing) check to see if it is connected or damaged.

I attached a pic below that shows, in general, where you can expect to see the wheel speed sensor.

Let me know if this helps or if you have questions.

Take care,

Joe
