My car has always ran good. One day I was coming back from a trip everything was fine. I go out to my car the next morning and it wont start. So I called a mobile mechanic and he did a compression test and told me that the compression was low in one of the cylinders. What would make this happen overnight

I can't think of anything that cause one cylinder to get low compression over night. Even with one cylinder low it should still start. Lets do this take off two spark plug wires off the coil while it doesn't start that are right next to each other have someone crank the car over while you watch for spark jumping from tower to tower. Do you have spark let me know.
